In order to promote the overseas students to further understand the construction of garbage classification ecological civilization in China, improve the environmental awareness of the overseas students, and create a good campus environment. On July 16th, our department organized teachers and some overseas students in school to carry out the social practice activities of "perceiving China" ecological civilization construction.
On the morning of July 16th, teachers and students first came to Yinchuan Zhongke Environmental Protection Power Co., Ltd. Under the introduction of the company's staff, the overseas students have a detailed understanding of the waste classification, transportation, entering the workshop for treatment, incineration, power generation and other work processes, and have a close look at the waste treatment work site, so that the overseas students can intuitively feel the scientific and technological power of "turning waste into treasure".
In the afternoon, teachers and students came to the garbage sorting center of Xixia district to learn about the standards and procedures of garbage classification, and visited the "exhibition hall of garbage classification and green kitchen recycling", so as to further let foreign students understand the importance of garbage classification and how to carry out garbage classification.
